Berle Farm Garden Subscription

HOW IT WORKS

We pick what is in season and at peak ripeness. The program usually starts the third week in June, continues through October, with an option for a Thanksgiving basket and root cellar items. Fresh field grown vegetables will be ready for pickup at the farm store.

Baskets cost between $10 and $40 depending on what is in season and your preferences. This is a pay by the week program.  Sustainable practices, seasonally appropriate harvesting and minimal waste allow us to provide you with the best organic vegetables at a reasonable cost. Our soil is rich; the food tastes great.

This vegetable program is a Berle Farm way of sharing the farm and the fruits of our labor. We work with the weather and are thankful for our harvests.  The harvest rhythm and what you will receive is very much like having your own garden. The conditions of the season dictate the availability of our produce. We do not use plastic mulch and our fertility is managed with cover crops and on farm compost. This is a VERY LOCAL operation. There is always food but it is not often early.  Crop suggestions are welcome!

OUR VEGETABLES INCLUDE:

Beans, Beets, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celery, Collards, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Garlic, Leeks, Lettuce, Peas, Peppers, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Squash, Onions, Herbs, Strawberries, Apples, Raspberries, and so much more!

Subscriber benefits include, best quality, delicious, nutritious, fresh, field grown organic food, volume discounts and canning/freezing options. Think, dream, jump, cook. A subscription to Berle Farm Gardens is a culinary adventure.

The connection to your farmers, land, the weather and the seasons is priceless.
