These are products we make and grow at Berle Farm. There are so many these days that we can’t list them all. We will continue to add items here in order to provide special full product details. Certified Organic Cow Milk Yogurt
European style, smooth, creamy, light tasting, special yogurt incubated in jar for 20 hours.
Cows are on break in January and February. Yogurt is available March through December.
Certified Organic Whole Cow Milk
Our milk comes from a small herd of happy, healthy, and well cared for cattle. A few sips will leave you feeling just as happy and healthy.
It is pasteurized and whole. The cream will rise to the top so SHAKE it before pouring.
Certified Organic BerleBerg Cheese
BerleBerg is a certified organic cheese, hand crafted in small batches with raw cow milk. It is a washed rind artisan cheese aged over 6 months. The cheese has a creamy tang that starts with grassy undertones and finishes with a sharp, nutty bouquet. The flavor becomes buttery when heated. It is a versatile cheese, great for melting and culinary/snacking fun.
Certified Organic HayMakers Cheese
HayMakers is a certified organic, farmstead, raw milk cheese. Its flavor is robust, earthy and balanced. It has a smooth and full-bodied finish with flavors that linger. HayMakers is a cheese with experience. It is aged and brushed in the cellar for over a year. HayMakers is terrific for grating and pairing.
Certified Organic Soft Ripened Cheese
Made for holiday joy this lovely cheese is available in November, December and some other special times.
Grass Fed Beef from Certified Organic Cows
Berle Farm beef comes from cows that are born at Berle Farm and raised on our organic pastures.
Pure Hand Crafted Maple Syrup
From when the tree sap is first collected to when the boiling hot syrup is poured from the pan, this precious liquid is treated with the reverence it deserves.
Certified Organic Apples
We’ve been collecting our favorite flavors from wild apple trees and familiar cultivated varieties since 2005. Now our orchard boasts a diversity of delicious apples, some of which you will recognize and some of which may not be sold anywhere else on earth!
Fresh Picked Certified Organic Vegetables
Our delicious seasonal vegetables are available at our farm store and through our weekly subscription program. The vegetables and fruit are rich in flavor and nutrient. We have made the choice for soil grown food affected by gravitational tides of the moon.
Crowdie
Crowdie is a certified organic, summertime cheese available from May to October. It is sometimes referred to as a ‘cultured ricotta’. Crowdie has a light, buttery, creamy, and fresh taste that reflects the quality of the milk. It is an excellent cheese for cooking, especially if you are a chef.
Gift Boxes
Our gift boxes are available all year round. The products included in a gift box vary, depending on the availability of certain items. Some products featured in the gift boxes are our organic cheeses (HayMakers & BerleBerg), maple syrup, corn meal, Berle Farm dish towels, and postcards of the farm.
