Chickens are everywhere and Lakeview Organic has developed this recipe for the health of the baby check! This feed is freshly ground at their mill in Penn Yan, NY. Our chicks have done well on this feed. We cut clover for them as an addition.

This chick starter feed is 21% protein made from whole grains (corn, soy, and oats) grown in New York state. The folks at Lakeview Organic are leaders of organic industry and have never disappointed.

An added bonus is that Berle Farm intern Collin MacDonald of Hoosick, NY is working with Lakeview Organic which brings them closer to us. We can change the landscape with the purchases that we make. Local organic grain means more open fields in our community.
