A superior selection of Laurel willow from North Dakota State University. Grows rapidly, producing a dense rounded tree with very dark green, highly glossy foliage. Does not tend to suffer from chlorosis due to iron deficiency. Will require pruning to produce a single stemmed tree in nursery production.  Suitable for planting in zone 4.
