Horseradish is a beautiful perennial plant that is easy to grow and sends up long stems of white flowers in early to mid summer. The roots are generally dug in the fall, grated and mixed with vinegar. Jars will keep in the refrigerator for months. This is going to look like a mis-shapen potato when you get it. Provide ground and water and horseradish is your reward! Easy to grow. Suitable for planting in zone 4.
